Jewelry Making 101

I’ve recently embarked on a new creative journey: jewelry making.

I hope to join the many novice jewelry designers in a quest to turn my traditional “TV watching time” into a productive and creative outlet.

Given more time, I would love to start an etsy shop and turn my creative passion into a profitable hobby, but for now I’m focused on learning the basics. I am really interested in working with wire and beads, but hope to expand to learn other techniques throughout 2014.

So here it is – another of those lofty goals that I have: by the end of 2014 I want to have followed my passion to the end of its wits and become a unique, experienced, jewelry designer with a clear vision and plan to open an etsy shop.

We’ll see how that goes, but for now – here are some of my most recent designs:
